Hey just FYI, but rap is over.

I am only saying this because I have either heard a rap song playing or heard rap mentioned on National Public Radio like five times in the last two days. Sorry. The reporter was talking about the 20th anniversary of Dr. Dre’s album Chronic (in relation to the LA Riots) and she repeatedly referred to him as “Dre” – which is awesome on so many levels that I don’t even have time to explain it to you. I think it’s pretty safe to say that if NPR is talking about you like you’re an old friend, you are no longer edgy and now officially in the damn mainstream. It sort of makes you think that they would be definitely be playing T.I. on Morning Becomes Eclectic except for all the swears. It only took 30 years… someone better get to work on the next big thing. Please god, don’t let it be Dubstep.
